MANILA, Philippines — Victims of firework-related injuries have already risen to 28, with most of them aged 19 and below, according to the Department of Health (DOH) on Thursday. The DOH said that this figure is gathered from the 62 sentinel hospitals, or hospitals designated to monitor health-related emergencies, from December 21, 2025 to December 25, 2025, 4 a.m. The agency noted that a total of 28 cases recorded were 50% less than the 56 cases logged during the same period last year.
