MANILA, Philippines — Online scam complaints received by the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) decreased by almost 40 percent this year compared to 2024. In a public briefing aired on state-run PTV, Undersecretary Renato “Aboy” Paraiso said the CICC, an agency under the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), logged about 6,000 new reports monitored through its Hotline 1326.
