Capture the festive magic! Chinese revellers explore best Christmas photography spots in Shenzhen over holidays

"This holiday season, several premier shopping malls in Shenzhen, southern China, transform into breathtaking, photo-ready Christmas wonderlands, each boasting its own unique attractions. Four major destinations stand out for their large-scale exhibitions that are perfect for capturing festive photos. Footage captured on Thursday shows revellers flocking to MixC World in Nanshan, where a stunning centrepiece - a 10-metre-tall golden 'Book Tree' - is meticulously crafted from glowing, stacked books topped with a luminous pinecone, creating a classic, warm atmosphere. "Very happy, very lively; the lights are beautiful," a tourist from Hong Kong, Mrs Feng, commented, adding, "The atmosphere is actually very good." Meanwhile, MixC Shenzhen Bay introduces an artistic twist with its enchanting 'Bay De Luna' exhibition, featuring giant, beautifully adorned cat sculptures set against a sophisticated winter park backdrop. "The lights here are plentiful…" another tourist, Mr Gao, said. "There are many people; it's very lively, so we came," the man added. For a storybook-like escape, MixC Luohu presents 'Snowland - Sweet Town', complete with a Christmas tree shaped like a towering cake, surrounded by gingerbread houses that particularly delight children. To complete the Christmas tour, visitors can explore additional immersive themes. MixC Qianhai offers a 'Realm of Ice and Snow', featuring an Arctic-inspired white landscape with scheduled snowfall a few times a day, enhanced by music for a truly memorable experience. In contrast, UpperHills in Futian presents a cosy 'Fluffy Bear' Christmas village, perfect for those seeking festive warmth."
