Ahead of Nashik municipal polls, prominent leaders from MNS and Shiv Sena (UBT) switched to BJP. Former MNS MLA Nitin Bhosale and former Shiv Sena (UBT) mayor Vinayak Pande were among those who joined. BJP minister Girish Mahajan welcomed the entrants, citing belief in BJP's ideology.
