Another Hindu man, Amrit Mondal, was beaten to death by a mob in Rajbari, Bangladesh. This incident occurred over an extortion allegation. Mondal was attacked by villagers after he allegedly demanded money from a resident. Police rescued him in critical condition, but he was declared dead at the hospital. This follows another lynching of a Hindu man in Mymensingh district.
