MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon, locally known as amihan, is expected to bring rain showers across the Luzon, while the easterlies prevail over Visayas and Mindanao, the state weather bureau said on Friday, Dec. 26. Based on its morning forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the amihan is forecast to bring cloudy skies with rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands, as well as cloudy skies with light rains over Mainland Cagayan, Isabela and Apayao.
