Christmas dance battle! Maduro and Caracas Govt Head Fernandez unleash energetic moves in holiday celebration

"Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and Caracas Government Head Nahum Fernandez broke out into a dance battle at the Miraflores Palace Christmas Eve dinner on Wednesday. Footage shows the pair showing off their dance moves as a band performed live music for guests. During the celebration, Maduro also delivered a speech expressing his wishes for peace and prosperity in Venezuela. "[Through prayer], one can invoke the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, the Divine Trinity, so that with their blessings they give us wisdom," Maduro stated. "With wisdom we may ask the Baby Jesus to grant us, to grant us, for now and forever, the perpetual peace and prosperity of the Fatherland," he continued. Maduro said that, despite the various threats facing the country, what truly matters is the sense of hope that remains among the Venezuelan people. "The most important thing is that there is hope," he stressed. "Hope that Venezuela will be better with each passing day and that with every test that life puts before us, God gives us the strength as He gave it to David against Goliath." At the event, Maduro also celebrated UNESCO's designation of joropo - a traditional Venezuelan music and dance genre - as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity."
