News organisation Arab48 said that the mourners performed the funeral prayer for the bodies at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, before burying them in the city's cemetery. On Thursday, Gaza's civil defence agency said that the bodies of 25 people, including members of the Al-Astal family, including journalist Hiba Al-Abadla and her mother, had been recovered from under the rubble of the house, after excavation work that lasted for hours.
