The Thessaloniki Metro will begin a 24-hour trial run on Saturday, as part of an effort for safe holiday travel during the holidays. Also on a 24-hour trial will be bus lines 6, 14, 27, 32, 58 and 66 during the hours of midnight to 05:00, when they are expected to run every 30 minutes, approximately. During the rest of the day they will follow their usual daily schedules. Meanwhile, the Thessaloniki Metro announced that as part of the gradual trial runs for the Kalamaria extension, the Metro schedule will be adjusted as follows until January 4 (a Sunday): From Monday to Thursday, 05:30-00.30; Friday and Saturday, 05:30-02.00; and Sunday, 05:30-02:00.
