Taylor Swift made multimillion-dollar donations to three major US charities addressing hunger, heart disease, and the welfare of music professionals this Christmas season. According to statements released by the nonprofits this week, the singer donated $1 million to Feeding America, $1 million to the American Heart Association, and a separate donation to MusiCares, the charitable arm of the Recording Academy, which supports artists facing hardships.
