The Ministry of Interior’s showjumping team won first place in the National Day Showjumping Championship, organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) and held at the Military Sports Union Arena in Al Raffa. On this occasion, Brigadier Abdulaziz Mayouf Al Rumaihi, Supervisor of the team, extended congratulations to General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior. He highlighted the close and continuous follow up by Lieutenant General Tariq Al Hassan, Chief of Police, of sports teams participating in local, regional, and international championships, which has contributed to notable sporting achievements. Brigadier Al Rumaihi also commended His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah bin Isa Al Khalifa, President of BREEF, and Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Show Jumping Committee, for the preparation, organisation, and supervision that ensured the success of the championship. Brigadier Al Rumaihi also expressed appreciation to the Military Sports Union for its efforts in preparing and hosting the event.
