MANILA, Philippines — As part of the national government’s “Oplan Kontra Baha” to solve widespread flooding, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DOH) on Saturday said that it has so far declogged 60.1 percent of Metro Manila’s drainage system. Based on the DPWH’s overall accomplishments in its flood control program as of Friday, the agency said it had declogged 2,770.61 cubic meters of drainage out of the target volume of 4,606.80 cubic meters across 48 locations.
