'Investigation is underway' - Libya's PM Dbaiba as GNU holds funeral ceremony for Chief of Staff Al Haddad and his aides in Tripoli

"The Government of National Unity (GNU) held a solemn funeral ceremony for army's chief of staff, Mohammed Ali Al Haddad, and his companions, who lost their lives in a plane crash in Ankara following a working visit to Turkey last Tuesday.   Footage filmed in Tripoli on Saturday shows the funeral ceremony attended by a number of GNU officials and military figures. "During these farewell moments, we assure that the investigation into this horrific incident is underway with depth and responsibility. We are monitoring it closely with collaboration with the Turkish government to uncover all pertinent circumstances and the whole truth is revealed, so that justice is to be served," said, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, GNU Prime Minister. Earlier on Wednesday Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his condolences to the 'brotherly' Libyan nation and reassured that 'relevant ministries will provide information on its progress' as the investigation into the incident has been launched. A commission was 'formed by the Ministries of Defence and Interior of the Government of National Unity (GNU)' arrived in the Turkish capital as part of monitoring the plane crash, the Libyan embassy stated on its account on Facebook."
