No, human casualty, however, reported in the accidents. Meanwhile, air traffic disrupted at three airports in Lapland- Ivalo, Kittilä and Rovaniemi- from Saturday afternoon due to the storm named Hannes, which blew across the country. At Kittilä Airport, an aircraft of Swiss International Air Lines (Airbus A220-300) with about 150 passengers onboard skidded off the taxiway after landing at about 4:00 p.m. The plane, which arrived from Geneva, however, managed to escape any major accident and none of the passengers and cabin crew was injured. About the same time, another small business aircraft operated by Nextant Aerospace carrying less than 10 people also skidded off the taxiway after landing due to the strong wind and none injured in the incident, said Finavia and local media. Finavia also warned that some flights would be diverted to other airports, if aircraft could not land at their original airport due to the adverse weather. This also affects departing flights, causing delays to their schedules.
