On Saturday at 2:30 p.m. EST the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory valid for Sunday between 4 a.m. EST and 1 p.m. EST for Montmorency, Alpena, Crawford, Oscoda, Alcona, Ogemaw, Iosco and Arenac counties.
