LAHORE: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi on Saturday said that PTI founder Imran Khan has asked PTI and the masses to get ready for the street movement and public mobilization. Addressing the members Lahore High Court Bar Association, he also asked the legal fraternity to stand with PTI workers in the party’s “street movement”. He also called on the bar members to “stand for an independent judiciary”. CM Afridi commenting about his visit to Punjab said, “You have seen how the false Punjab government has been treating us. He said the occupying government of the Punjab had picked up more than a thousand PTI workers on his visit. He said the Constitution allows every citizen to hold meetings and stage protest against injustices. He said police in Punjab have become rogue. Recalling the 27th Constitutional Amendment, he stressed that “courts in the country had been rendered useless”. Afridi also said that the justice system of the country has paralyzed as the orders of Islamabad High Court regarding his meeting with Imran Khan were thrown in the trash by a jail superintendent.
