"I see millions of Americans being destroyed, and none of it is at the hands of radical Islam," said Tucker Carlson. Tucker Carlson said that fears of “radical Islam” in the United States are wildly overblown and blamed Israel for fomenting fears about Muslims in an interview published on Friday. “I don’t know anyone in the United States in the last 24 years who’s been killed by radical Islam,” the former Fox News host told The American Conservative , presumably alluding to the attacks of Sept 11, 2001. “I do know a lot of people who have killed themselves,” he continued. “I know people who’ve died of drug ODs, more than a few. I know people who can’t get jobs. None of the boys in my daughter’s class can get jobs, none of those white boys can get jobs. They’re being destroyed by Adderall and video games and porn. I see millions of Americans being destroyed, and none of it is at the hands of radical Islam.” He went on to suggest that the OnlyFans platform is a bigger danger than so-called radical Islam, claiming it’s “turning some huge percentage of American women into prostitutes.” “That’s not radical Islam doing that, actually,” he said. “So anyone who believes that lie, I feel sorry for. But it doesn’t reflect the lived reality of anyone I’ve ever met in the United States.” Calling himself a “close observer,” he added, “I just think that that’s insane.” Carlson’s remarks came in response to the results of a straw poll conducted at a Turning Point USA conference earlier this month. Attendees of the conservative event were asked what they considered the greatest threat facing the United States, and the leading response was “radical Islam.” In the new interview, Carlson was asked where he thinks “those sentiments” come from. “It comes from the Israeli government and its many defenders and informal employees in the United States, of course,” he replied. Tucker Carlson ( @TuckerCarlson ) tells @amconmag that "hate the Muslims," is just another classic Israeli government psyop meant to propagandize Americans to believe that Israel's enemies are their own. In 2017, he said that “violent terrorism” was an “inevitability in Europe” because “there are a lot more Muslims living in Europe now.” Yet, more recently, he has condemned Islamophobia, calling it “disgusting” during a speech of his own at the Turning Point USA conference. Carlson’s new comments proved polarizing to the right. Some critics on social media accused him of glossing over acts of terrorism committed by Muslim extremists in the US since 9/11, including the Boston marathon bombing and the Pulse nightclub shooting . Meghan McCain mocked him , quipping, “We’re like 3 months away from Tucker Carlson telling everyone you’re a warmonger neocon if you don’t convert to Islam.” Others supported him, including former Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who posted a photo of herself with Carlson and wrote, “I’ve seen a bunch of America Last accounts attacking Tucker so I’m making it clear that I’m proudly friends with Tucker Carlson.” Related...
