On Sunday at 10:43 a.m. EST the National Weather Service released a winter storm warning valid for Monday between 1 a.m. EST and 7 p.m. EST for Mason, Oceana, Muskegon, Ottawa, Allegan, Van Buren and Kalamazoo counties.
