MQM founder ordered murder of Imran Farooq: Kamal

KARACHI: Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal said on Sunday that it was on Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder’s orders that his close aide Imran Farooq was murdered. Speaking to the media, he said that the MQM founder gave orders for Farooq’s murder while he was drunk. He further said that Farooq’s murder was a birthday gift for the MQM founder. He further said that the MQM founder shed crocodile tears at the funeral of Farooq’s widow a day before yesterday. “What he did at her funeral was a TikTok video,” the minister added. He alleged that the MQM-P founder had been receiving funds from the Indian intelligence agency, RAW, for the last 25 years. “£500,000 was recovered from underneath his pillow,” he claimed. He demanded that those responsible for the murder of Farooq should be brought to justice. Mustafa, on the occasion, also offered assistance for access to the slayers of Farooq. He said it was due to the MQM founder that thousands of people ended up in jails and graveyards.
