PESHAWAR: The Primary Healthcare Reforms Project, Department of Health, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Greenstar Social Marketing Pakistan (GSM) have formally signed a contract that aims to strengthening primary healthcare services across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through a strategic public–private partnership. The contract marks a significant step towards improving access to quality primary healthcare by addressing critical human resource gaps, enhancing service delivery standards, and supporting primary healthcare facilities across the province. Under this collaboration, Greenstar Social Marketing Pakistan will support the Department of Health in deploying trained Healthcare Staff and strengthening service delivery at selected first-level care facilities under the Primary Healthcare Reforms Project. The Contract signing ceremony was held at the Health Secretariat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Contract was signed by Dr. Syed Azizur Rab, Chief Executive Officer, Greenstar Social Marketing Pakistan, and Dr. Ikram Ullah Khan, Project Director, Primary Healthcare Reforms Project in the presence of Minister for Health KP Mian Khaliq ur Rehman, the Secretary Health KP, Shahid Ullah Khan. At this occasion the Greenstar Social Marketing Pakistan senior management along with senior government officials of health department KP were also present. The signing ceremony concluded with a pledge of improving primary health care health services, marking the commencement of this collaborative initiative aimed at strengthening primary healthcare delivery and advancing health outcomes across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
