CEBU CITY — All 18 passengers of a motorized banca were safely rescued after the vessel capsized in the waters off Gilutungan Island, Cordova, Cebu, on Sunday, following the swift response of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).  The banca Jhon David, which departed from Getafe, Bohol, and was bound for Cebu City, reportedly became unstable and capsized near Gilutungan Island.  Coast Guard personnel from Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Cordova immediately launched search and rescue operations after receiving reports of the incident.
