Kathmandu Mayor Balendra Shah, popularly known as Balen, has joined hands with the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) ahead of Nepal’s March 5 parliamentary elections and has been named the party’s prime ministerial face, a move seen as a challenge to the country’s long-dominant traditional political parties.
