India is seeking the extradition of Hussain Mohammed Shattaf from the United Arab Emirates. Shattaf is wanted for the 2006 murder of Captain Manmohan Singh Virdi in Lonavala. He allegedly fled India and used forged documents to reside in the UAE. The Ministry of External Affairs has forwarded the extradition request. India is committed to bringing back wanted criminals.
