MANILA, Philippines — The number of injuries due to firecrackers and pyrotechnic devices reached 96 as of Monday morning, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP). The National Capital Region (NCR) had the most number of injuries at 19 from Dec. 16 to 29, followed by 13 in Central Visayas, 12 in Western Visayas, and 11 in Soccsksargen, according to data shared by the PNP Command Center in a press briefing in Camp Crame.
