Quiapo Church bares route for thanksgiving procession on December 30

MANILA, Philippines—The Quiapo Church on Monday issued guidelines for devotees who will attend the thanksgiving procession of the Black Nazarene to be held midnight on Tuesday, December 30. In a press briefing, church officials said the 4.56-kilometer procession in Manila is expected to draw thousands of devotees. The procession will begin at Plaza Miranda near Quiapo Church. From there, it will proceed to Plaza Miranda
Villalobos Street, right to Palanca Street, Lacson Plaza,Carriedo Street, and on to Evangelista Street, Gonzalo Puyat Street, right to Quezon Boulevard south bound, then to Palanca Street, left to Quezon Boulevard north bound, left to Arlegui Street then to Legarda Street, left to Concepcion Aguila Street, right to Carcer Street, then to Hidalgo Street,left to Bilibid Viejo Street, left to Gonzalo Puyat Street, then to Guzman Street, left to Hidalgo Street, left to Quezon Boulevard north bound,
right to Palanca Street, right to Villalobos Street to Plaza Miranda. Alex Irasga, technical and procession management adviser for Quiapo Church, said the thanksgiving procession is expected to be finished in two to three hours.
