The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has suspended an Umrah company and its foreign agent for committing violations. The punitive measures were taken after detecting that the company had failed to provide accommodation for pilgrims as stipulated in the approved contractual programs. This constituted a breach of the regulations and instructions governing services for the Umrah pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque. The ministry identified that some pilgrims arrived in the Kingdom without the provision of their approved accommodation, despite these services being documented in the contractual programs. This necessitated immediate legal action against the violating company and its foreign agent, in accordance with the established procedures. These measures aimed to guarantee the rights of affected pilgrims and prevent the recurrence of such violations, thereby enhancing the quality of services provided to pilgrims.
