PNP chief warns cops of sanctions over indiscriminate firing

MANILA, Philippines — Acting Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. reminded personnel to refrain from using their service firearms during this year’s holiday festivities or face criminal and administrative sanctions. “All PNP personnel are reminded to observe the highest level of discipline and professionalism in the handling of firearms.
