Northeast monsoon to affect Luzon - Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines —The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Tuesday the northeast monsoon or amihan continues to affect Northern and Central Luzon. In its 4 a.m. bulletin, Pagasa said that Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon. Meanwhile, Visayas, Mindanao, Mimaropa, and Bicol Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies. Pagasa warned that severe thunderstorms may trigger flash floods or landslides in affected areas and advised the public to remain vigilant and take precautionary measures.
