DOH logs 140 cases of firework-related injuries from Dec. 21 to 30

MANILA, Philippines — Ahead of the New Year’s festivities, a total of 140 firework-related injuries were recorded from December 21 to December 30 at 4 a.m., the Department of Health (DOH) said on Tuesday. According to the DOH, 95 of the 140 injuries, or 68 percent, involved individuals aged 19 and below, while the remaining 23 percent were sustained by those older than 19.
