MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday posthumously conferred the Order of Lakandula with the rank of Grand Cross (Bayani) on former Migrant Workers Secretary Maria Susana “Toots” Vasquez Ople, whose patriotism he compared to that of national hero Dr. Jose Rizal.
