Korean Air has wrapped up the year by reaching out to communities through activities including giveaways, meal services, performances and the renovation of overseas public facilities. The company currently operates 25 employee volunteer groups that engage in community activities. The employees conduct various social contribution initiatives here and abroad as part of the airline’s environmental, social and governance management. Most recently on Monday, employees of the company and its subsidiary airliner, Asiana Airlines, held a joint donation event at Gangseo Fire Station and Geon Christian Children’s Home in western Seoul. They delivered 350 upcycled keyrings with a safety alarm feature and pouches repurposed from retired cabin crew uniforms and in-flight tablecloths.
