Two defendants have been remanded in custody pending further investigation, ahead of their referral to criminal trial, for racing two vehicles on Bahrain Bay Street in the Zallaq area. Authorities said the drivers exceeded the legally prescribed speed limit in a manner that posed a serious threat to lives and property.
