"FC Barcelona opened its doors to fans on Monday night as the team returned from the festive break for an annual charity training session at the Estadi Johan Cruyff. Footage shows Barcelona players jogging around the stadium before gathering for warm-up drills, as head coach Hansi Flick oversaw the session. Young stars Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres were among those taking selfies, signing t-shirts and handing out footballs to supporters as they waved flags and held placards in his name. “Being able to see a first-team training session up close. We always watch it on TV, but seeing it up close is always better,” said one fan. Supporters applauded from the stands as players carried out resistance and running exercises, while several fans described the experience as more special than watching on TV. “Once again supporting Barca. I love that they do these open training sessions. Very exciting. And I'm glad Araujo is back,” said another young fan. The annual festive-season event, organised by the FC Barcelona Foundation, supports a social cause, with ticket sales funding the Blaugrana Bracelets programme for children, teenagers and others facing long-term hospital stays. FC Barcelona will travel next to face Catalan rivals RCD Espanyol in a La Liga away match on Saturday, January 3, 2026."
