Google may be about to let users change their Gmail address. According to Telegram group Google Pixel Hub, via 9to5Google , a Hindi version of Gmail’s support page states that the feature is “being rolled out gradually to all users”. The feature should make it possible to change one’s current Gmail address to a new address that also ends in @gmail.com, without losing access to previous emails or files. The old address will continue to function as an alias, and the user should be able to log in with both addresses. However, it will not be possible to create additional new Gmail addresses linked to the same account for the following 12 months. It is unclear at this stage when this feature will become generally available.
