"Nigeria’s national team is continuing preparations for its final Group C match at the Africa Cup of Nations, where it will face Uganda, after already securing qualification for the Round of 16. Footage filmed on Monday in Fes shows the Super Eagles taking part in training sessions, alongside scenes from the team’s pre-match press conference. Despite having already booked a place in the knockout stages, Nigeria head coach Eric Schill said the team remains focused on victory. “I want to win, the players want to win, everyone wants to win this game,” he said. Team captain Wilfred Ndidi echoed that sentiment, describing the match as another chance to lift spirits back home. “Another opportunity to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians and to give hope also,” Ndidi said. “We’ve won two games, but the tournament is still long. And as I said earlier, the focus now is not on the next round. The focus is on the next game.” Nigeria clinched early qualification after back-to-back victories over Tunisia and Tanzania, topping Group C with six points. Uganda, meanwhile, sits at the bottom of the group with one point. The tournament is being hosted by Morocco and runs from December 21 to January 18."
