PhilSA warns of possible debris fall from Chinese rocket

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) on Wednesday, December 31, warned that debris is expected to fall in Philippine waters after the launch of a Chinese rocket. The identified drop zones are 45 nautical miles (NM) from Burgos, Ilocos Norte; 67 NM from Dalupiri Island, Cagayan; 64 NM from Santa Ana, Cagayan; and 76 NM from Camiguin Norte. The Long March 7A was launched from Wenchang, China, at 6:40 am.
