China is a global leader in electric vehicles (EVs), but gaining access to its export market is a complex and highly regulated process. Only a handful of companies manage to obtain the official export license required by the Chinese government. Founded in 2021, EcoCars became one of the first foreign companies to receive China’s official EV export license.
