New Year’s Eve rains to drench most of PH

MANILA, Philippines — It will be a rainy New Year’s Eve in most parts of the country due to three weather systems, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). In its 4 p.m. bulletin on Wednesday, Dec. 31, Pagasa said cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected over Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Catanduanes, caused by a shear line.
