LRT 2 to return to normal operations beginning Jan. 1

MANILA, Philippines — The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT 2) will return to its normal operations starting Jan. 1, it announced on Wednesday.  In an advisory, LRT 2 said that starting Thursday, the first trips from Antipolo to Recto stations will depart at 5 a.m. Meanwhile, the last trip from Antipolo Station will depart at 9:00 PM, while the last commercial train from Recto Station will depart at 9:39 p.m.  Earlier, the Department of Transportation announced the extended operations of LRT 2 to cater to late-night commuters, workers, and shoppers.  READ: LRT-2 extends holiday season operating hours Meanwhile, Administrator […]...
