Authorities have arrested two individuals in connection with the fatal stabbing of an Asian man in the Al-Badi’ area of Bahrain. The suspects, who are of the same nationality as the victim, were apprehended while attempting to flee the Kingdom. The Public Prosecution stated that the suspects confessed to the killing, which stemmed from a dispute dating back over 12 years in their homeland. They reportedly followed the victim for two months and ambushed him near his residence, stabbing him multiple times, which led to his death. The body of the victim was discovered in an alley, prompting an immediate investigation. Forensic experts collected physical evidence, and a coroner conducted an autopsy to determine the cause and circumstances of death. Witness statements and security camera footage helped identify the perpetrators. The Public Prosecution has ordered pretrial detention for the suspects, with investigations ongoing before referral to criminal court.
