Sindh govt reaffirms its commitment to economic growth: Nadir Gabol

KARACHI: Nadir Nabil Gabol, Spokesperson for the Government of Sindh, visited the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) on Wednesday to reinforce the provincial government’s dedication to fostering a robust business environment and sustainable economic growth. During the visit, Gabol met with the President of KCCI and his senior team to discuss strategic initiatives aimed at promoting trade activity and boosting business confidence across the province. The dialogue focused on strengthening the public-private partnership and identifying key areas where government policy can better support the industrial and commercial sectors. “The Sindh government is fully committed to supporting the province’s business community,” said Nadir Nabil Gabol. “We are working in close partnership with stakeholders to ensure continuous and sustainable economic growth for Karachi and the wider province.” High on the agenda was the government’s push toward modernization and infrastructure development. Gabol highlighted the tangible steps recently taken by the administration, noting that just this week, the Chief Minister of Sindh approved an additional Rs 2.9 billion specifically for the development and maintenance of industrial zones. Furthermore, Gabol detailed the rollout of the Sindh Business One-Stop Shop (SBOSS). This initiative marks a significant pivot toward digitalization, designed to make business activities smoother and more efficient. By reducing red tape and streamlining regulatory processes, SBOSS aims to enhance the ease of doing business in Sindh, allowing investors and traders to focus on growth rather than bureaucracy. The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to maintain open channels of communication between the Sindh Government and the KCCI to ensure the swift resolution of issues facing the business community.
