LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari, reacting to the recent statement by Shafi Jan, said that “these people are not merely wild — they are wild animals. Elements driven by a gutter mentality and foul language stain the name of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Pashtu community. Their behaviour aligns neither with social values nor with human civility.” Azma Bokhari said that once again, this person has demonstrated “his poor upbringing, cheap mentality, and base language, proving he lacks both reasoning and character, and speaks only through filth.” She added that such individuals inspire “not just regret but deep pity, as they reveal their upbringing through abusive language rather than manners or values.” The minister further stated, “I sincerely sympathize with this man’s mother and the other women of his household. Such characters bring disgrace to the environment in which they were raised.” Copyright Business Recorder, 2026
