MANILA, Philippines – A total of 298,871 passengers were monitored in seaports nationwide on the last day of 2025, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) reported on Thursday. According to the PCG, there were 150,203 outbound passengers and 148,668 inbound passengers on December 31, New Year’s Eve. Based on PCG’s records, the aforementioned figures are lower than those for the period from December 26 to December 30. During this period, the largest volume of passengers was recorded on December 29, with 461,214 (251,308 outbound, 209,906 inbound), followed by December 30, with 458,378 (241,311 outbound, 217,067 inbound).
