MANILA, Philippines — Higher liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices were implemented early Thursday morning, Jan. 1. Petron Corporation announced in an advisory on Wednesday evening that it would increase the price of LPG by P2.18 per kilogram (kg) at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday. “This reflects the international contract price of LPG for the month of January,” Petron said in its advisory on New Year’s Eve.
