LONDON, Jan 1 (Bernama-PA Media/dpa) -- London Mayor Sadiq Khan has hailed the city's New Year celebrations as the "greatest in the world," after 100,000 people lined the banks of the River Thames to welcome 2026 with the United Kingdom (UK) capital's largest fireworks display, PA Media/dpa reported.
