COTABATO CITY—The Department of Health in the Soccsksargen region (DOH-12) reported 41 injuries during Christmas and New Year celebrations from December 21, 2025, to January 1, 2026. This figure is 51 percent lower than the same period last year, when 84 people were hurt by firecrackers.
