Justice for Gaza - Thousands gather on Istanbul's Galata bridge for massive pro-Palestine rally

"Tens of thousands of people gathered on the iconic Galata Bridge in Istanbul on Thursday for a solidarity march in support of Palestine. The event was organised by the 'Humanity Alliance' and the 'National Will Platform' on the first day of the new year. Drone footage shows crowds waving Palestinian and Turkish flags, as well as a large banner that reads 'Justice for Gaza, Conscience for the World' in both English and Turkish. According to Anadolu News Agency, the march saw participation from more than 400 civil organisations under the slogan "We will not submit, we will not remain silent, and we will not forget Palestine." The agency also added that participants performed the dawn prayer before assembling at Istanbul’s famous mosques, including Hagia Sophia, Sultan Ahmed, Fatih, Suleymaniye, and New Mosque, prior to marching toward Galata Bridge. Hamas and Israel have reached a ceasefire agreement, which went into effect on October 10, under the framework of the 20-point 'Trump Plan'. The key provisions of this agreement include an immediate ceasefire, the release of all hostages, both living and deceased, and the entry of humanitarian aid."
