MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (Caap) on Friday extended flight restrictions in the vicinity of Mayon Volcano in Albay which has exhibited increased unrest until Saturday morning. “The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has extended a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) B6570/25 covering flights near Mayon Volcano, with vertical limits from the surface up to 11,000 feet,” Caap’s advisory on Friday read.
