A businessman, Khokon Chandra Das, was brutally attacked, hacked, and set on fire by miscreants in Bangladesh's Shariatpur district. He was returning home from his shop when the assailants stopped his autorickshaw, assaulted him, and then set him ablaze. Das jumped into a pond to save himself and is now receiving advanced treatment in Dhaka.
