PNP probes link between P2.6-B smuggled cigarettes in Malabon, Batangas

MANILA, Philippines — Acting Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said the agency is investigating whether a single group was allegedly responsible for smuggling the P2.6-billion worth of cigarettes recovered in Malabon City and Batangas City.
